Do I have to assemble the loom?

The 16, 24 and 32 inches models due to its sizes are delivered semi assembled. It will take no more than 10 minutes to complete the assembly with the necessary tools that are also included.The Rigid Heddle Loom 16 inches can be delivered fully assembled (at no cost) and ready to work as soon you take it off the box, nevertheless the size of the box impact the shiping cost. What materials are used to produce these looms?

The loom frame is made of red oak solid wood and the the plastic components are made of ultra-hard polyurethane resin.

Why you included plastic parts?

Some components in the loom require high precision and durability. Red oak wood, being a noble and strong material is perfect for the frame structures but for precision and wearability we have decided to use ultra-hard polyurethane resin.

Why this looms use expensive material in its construction?

We strongly believe that our looms are made to last, the selection of fine and durable materials in its construction comes to a price. We are proud that since the inception of the first units they are still in shape.

Do you manufacture other type of looms?

No, the only type of looms we manufacture is the Rigid Heddle Looms.

Do you plans to manufacture other type of looms?

No, we are specialized in the manufacture of Rigid Heddle Looms and we will continue in this line. Only modifications to the current models can be considered if they represent improvements in the warping and weaving process.

No, all the necessary accessories are included with the purchase of every model of our looms. You only need the yarn of your taste and then you are ready to go.

Where can I find tutorials?

There are multiple sources that provide instructions how to warp, to weave and to create intricate design.

Can you customize a loom for me?

No, we only manufacture the models that are detailed in our website; nevertheless we supply parts and components that can be used to produce customized variations.

Why you create a new warping method for the 16 inches loom?

Warping is a time consuming and sometimes cumbersome step in our projects, for that reason we have developed for the 16 inches model an alternative warping method. This improvement is particularly attractive for the beginners. The traditional warping method has also been maintained for all the models 16, 24 and 32 inches.

Can I use your heddles in other loom?
